Our latest home renovation, a 1970s townhouse in the heart of Minneapolis, is complete. From 45 year old hand drawn plans to the dust of demolition all the way through to final art placement, this project was a joy. Three simple architectural moves vastly improved the home’s main living space: we replaced an awkward sheetrocked stair rail with a graceful metal piece, we reinvented the home’s entertainment center, and we rethought the fireplace by building in storage next to a new, modern mantle and slate fireplace surround. New furniture and new paint colors, also selected by Sarah Nettleton Architects, make the space sing. To view more images of the project, click here.
